Indooroopilly State School Unveils New Learning Precinct

It was a privilege to attend the official opening of the new Administration, Music and Learning Precinct at Indooroopilly State School, an exciting addition that is already making a positive impact on the school community.

The new precinct was officially opened by the Minister for Education and the Arts, John-Paul Langbroek, alongside Principal Deb Spanner, marking an important milestone for one of our local schools.

Thoughtfully designed to connect different parts of the campus, the precinct provides modern and welcoming spaces for students, staff and families to learn, collaborate and come together. It is more than just a new building, it is a hub for connection, creativity and opportunity.

One of the highlights of the event was hearing students share their words of gratitude and reflect on what the new facilities mean to them and the wider school community. Their stories were a powerful reminder of how important quality learning environments are in supporting educational outcomes and fostering a strong sense of belonging.
