100 years of Faith, Family & Connection

They say age is just a number… but 100 years is something worth recognising 🎉

This week we celebrated another centenary, with Holy Family Parish, Indooroopilly celebrated 100 years.

It was wonderful to attend this occasion alongside Principal @holyfamilyps Theresa Redgwell, Head Master @brigidine_college Brendan Cahill, Rev’d Suzanne @indooroopilly_anglican , Archbishop Shane Mackinlay, Local Clergy, Pastors in solidum Fathers Gregory Jacobs SJ, Paul Fyfe SJ and Frank Brennan SJ, Deacon Russ Nelson, and Invited Clergy Fathers Nev Yungand Michael Grace.

For 100 years, this beautiful church has been so much more than a building. It’s been a place where families have gathered, friendships have grown and connections have continued to flourish 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

Milestones like this are a wonderful reminder that the heart of any place is always the people who fill it. From those who helped shape its early years to the families and parishioners who continue the tradition today, every person has helped create the incredible story of Holy Family Church.
