Let’s Talk Entrepreneurship

Every entrepreneur’s journey begins with an idea, but success is often shaped by a willingness to get uncomfortable, back yourself, cultivate the right mindset, build a strong culture, and maintain the drive to keep moving forward through challenges and change. 🚀

That was the focus of this week’s Future Founders Forum, an initiative designed @brisbanecitycouncil to connect students and aspiring entrepreneurs with experienced business leaders, providing real-world insights, practical advice and inspiration to help shape the next generation of founders.

As someone with a background in small business, I know firsthand the courage, resilience and passion it takes to build something from the ground up. Supporting and inspiring young people to pursue entrepreneurship is something I care deeply about, because I want to see the next generation of startups and small businesses thriving right here in Brisbane.

It was inspiring to see so many engaged students, parents and aspiring founders in the room, all eager to learn from those who have walked the path before them and to begin writing their own stories. ✨

The future of Brisbane’s entrepreneurial community will be shaped by those willing to embrace change, take action and back themselves. After seeing the energy and ambition in the room, I have no doubt Brisbane’s future is in very good hands. 🙌
