Farewell Chief Inspector Corey Allen
One of the great privileges of being a Councillor is meeting people who leave a lasting impact on our community and Corey is certainly one of them ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐
Recently, we farewelled Chief Inspector Corey Allen as he retired from the Queensland Police Service after an incredible career of service ๐
Chief Inspector Allen has been a steady and trusted leader, a calm presence during challenging times, and a strong advocate for keeping our community safe. This included being Officer in Charge at Indooroopilly Station and broader Brisbane West operational responsibilities.
The Fig Tree Pocket community saw this firsthand, with Coreyโs leadership helping residents feel supported and secure. His dedication across Brisbane and surrounds has made a real difference, and his legacy will be felt for many years to come.
A special thank you for the compassion and care Corey showed in supporting people experiencing homelessness in our community, particularly Ziggy, work that truly reflects policing at its best.
On behalf of our community, thank you for your professionalism, commitment and care. Wishing you a well-earned retirement filled with family time and many new adventures ๐
