Budget News Just In!

The Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner has officially handed down this year’s Budget and it strikes the right balance between keeping costs down and keeping Brisbane moving

I'm pleased to share that funding has been allocated for the continued restoration for works on the Walter Taylor Bridge including new rendering, repainting and structural repairs.

During structural repairs of the bridge last year, many locals stated their concerns, that the bridge needed some love! I heard you!

Today, I can confirm it will! Just in time for its 90th birthday, 14th Feb 2026

This iconic local landmark plays a vital role in our road network and our community’s heritage, and I’m excited to see it preserved for future generations
