Jesmond Road and Cubberla Street, Fig Tree Pocket, Pedestrian Improvement

Around Fig Tree Pocket State School, there’s still much to do to make it easier and safer for families to walk, ride and scooter. Which is why I’m delighted to share that Jesmond Road and Cubberla Street, Fig Tree Pocket, will be receiving road construction and minor density improvements this financial year. 

We’re always looking for ways to improve active travel across our suburbs to help keep our community connected and moving safely. Design and further details to follow in the coming year.
