Happy International Women’s Day!

Although reschedule from March 8th due to ex-TC Alfred, I was delighted to gather and celebrate with some of the incredible women who inspire us every day in our local community!

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global celebration of women’s achievements in social, economic, cultural, and political spheres – and a powerful call for gender equality and women's rights 🌍✨

We kicked off the morning tea session with laughter, stories, and heartfelt reflections on the strength, wisdom, and love women bring to our families, workplaces, and communities 🌱💪

I was humbled to share stories on the importance of resilience, strength, and enduring love! 💜 From mothers to daughters, colleagues to friends – the women in our lives continue to shape and uplift our world in the most powerful ways 💐 Let’s keep celebrating them today and every day! 🙌🌟

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so special. Celebrations like these remind us of the importance of creating space to acknowledge, connect, and uplift. I look forward to more opportunities in the future to share, celebrate and honour the women who inspire us daily 🌸
