Toowong Bicentennial Bikeway and Pedestrian Link

The Bicentennial Bikeway and pedestrian link through the old ABC site in Toowong is officially open!

This fresh new connection runs from Coronation Drive, through the Monarch Residences to Archer St, giving riders and walkers an easy alternate route to @uniqld and beyond.

It’s still an active worksite, so please take care and look out for workers, pedestrians and fellow cyclists. Temporary signs are up, including a 5km/h limit (changing to 10km/h soon!).

The original footpath and bikeway (600 Coronation Dr to Archer St) are closed during November for essential works.

Whether you’re walking the dog going for a spin or just exploring Toowong, these new links make getting around our beautiful neighbourhood even easier.
