A safer, smoother intersection is on the way 👀

Changes are coming to the Milton Road, Croydon Street and Morley Street intersection.

Councils intersection upgrade will reduce through-traffic on Sylvan Road, improve flow onto Milton Road and make it safer for everyone moving through, whether you’re driving, walking riding or catching the bus 🚌

With a new raised crossing, upgraded bus stop, better traffic flow and safer movements at the lights, this is all about creating a calmer, safer pocket right near homes, businesses and schools.

Works are getting underway as part of the Toowong intersection improvements and Sylvan Road Bikeway, with this location kicking things off 👷

Works planned to run from early August 2026 through to early 2027.
