The 2026Inner West Small Business Awards aims to recognise and celebrate the achievements of outstanding local businesses who contribute to the character, sustainability and vitality of our community and they need your vote.

Each finalist will receive recognition for their nomination at our special presentation event on Thursday 1st October and winners of each category will receive a trophy.
There are 5 finalists in each of the below categories.
Brewed for Brilliance Award– Awarded to a hospitality business (café, roastery, bakery etc.) that exemplifies quality, creativity and exceptional service.
Rooted Locally, Grown Boldly Award – Celebrates a small business or service that is proudly local but expanding its reach and influence beyond the ward.
Community ChampionAward – Awarded to a business that has overcome significant challenges and emerged stronger.
Neighbourhood NurturerAward – Celebrates a business that strengthens the local community through meaningful engagement or partnerships.
The Artisan's Touch Award – Celebrates craftsmanship and dedication to quality. Ideal for makers, artists, stall holders and bespoke trades.
Digital DynamoAward – Recognises excellence in digital engagement, online innovation, or e-commerce with a local heart.
Customer Connection Award - For an employee who goes above and beyond to build genuine connections with customers.
Lifetime Local LegendAward – Honours a longstanding business, owner or employee who has made a lasting contribution to the ward over many years.
Pet Friendly Pioneer Award – Recognises business, owner or employee who makes life better for our furry friends.
Making Brisbane’s Lifestyle Better Award – Celebrates an initiative or business that enhances Brisbane’s lifestyle.
